Project 10:15-Port Chester, NY

One Life has begun a relationship with Acts Of Love Ministry run by Clover DeGallerie of Port Chester. When Clover came to Port Chester she and her children were homeless. She sensed a call to stand outside of the Traverse Housing Complex and get to know the people. After 2 years, she began to serve the people she had met there, and they trusted her.

In July 2011, One Life, along with Stanwich
Congregational Church of CT, the Rye/Harrison Interfaith Council, and several Rye librarians, came along side Clover in asking for, sorting and distributing clothing and toys to the families at Traverse.

On Nov 19th, 2011, One Life and Stanwich Congregational Church also collaborated, alongside Rye Presbyterian Church, Harrison Elementary’s 5th grade Service Club and many others, to help Clover provide over 250 people a warm Thanksgiving meal, take away meals and groceries.
