Romans 10:14-15
14How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"
One Life began its association with Last Call Ministries through Stanwich Congregational Church, Greenwich, CT 2011 Mission Trip. One Life partnered with Stanwich to raise funds to equip a local public school, Los Cedros, with a working kitchen. Once the stove was operational, the school then was able to obtain certification that opened the opportunity for government funds for a food program.
The food program is currently helping to feed a basic meal to 300 children who otherwise would not receive food during the school day.
In addition, One Life’s Project 10:15 became the vehicle for a grant which has made it possible for Last Call Ministries to negotiate and acquire several church and school buildings in Villa Neuva. This grant is providing some stability to the church and school community and frees up the contributions from within the church to be solely used for outreach and care of its members.
